Teach Them Diligently and a Big Giveaway from Vision Forum

Teach Them Diligently Convention

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.  Deuteronomy 6:6-7

My family is heading to Teach Them Diligently Convention March 15-17 in Spartanburg, SC.  We’d love for you to join us!

Teach Them Diligently is a brand new convention.  Here’s a word straight from David and Leslie, the couple making this amazing convention come together:

“Our kids have excelled academically since we have homeschooled, and we believe in it whole-heartedly. Education is important to us, but foundationally, homeschooling is not an educational pursuit for us but one of discipleship. It is very much part of the Great Commission: our home is our Jerusalem. Teach Them Diligently is distinctive from many other homeschool conventions because the foundation will be discipleship, parenting, and missions. Academics and how-to workshops on homeschooling will be important, as will legal discussions regarding homeschooling, because it is an election year. But, discipleship will be the foundation, and we believe that it is the foundation for what so many Christian parents do every day as they educate their children. Another distinction is that all profits from the Teach Them Diligently Convention will go directly into mission endeavors.”

You don’t want to miss this convention!  Run over to Teach Them Diligently and register!

There are going to be some great speakers and vendors at the convention.  One of those in Vision Forum.

Vision Forum is a fantastic company whose mission is to communicate a vision of victory to Christian Families through edifying books, films, toys, curriculum, and other resources.  Whether you need dress up clothes for your daughters, movies for the family or homeschool curriculum, Vision Forum has all you can possibly need.

Their founder Doug Philips will be speaking at Teach Them Diligently.  He’s definitely someone who will encourage and challenge you to move forward during your homeschool years!

I will not be able to make it to this convention, it would have been nice to go to a discipleship homeschool convention.  This is their first year, yes?  I hope all goes well for them, then hopefully I can go another year.  If I was going if would be extremely hard to pick from the speakers.  I am thinking perhaps Voddie Baucham the most though.
