My February 3 in 30 goals all revolve around my soon to be released ebook Finding Joy in Depression.  See the details of my goals in my first post for this month.

  • Complete the ebook layout and formats – I’m so close to finishing the PDF layout!
  • Complete the website and social media channels – I did a lot of work on the Finding Joy in Depression website as well as Twitter and Facebook pages.
  • Schedule reviews and giveaways – My mailing list is still growing!  I currently have 18 people interested in reviewing the book out of my goal of 25.  I have one guest post completed and submitted that will have a giveaway and another guest post due this week.

My February 3 in 30 goals all revolve around my soon to be released ebook Finding Joy in Depression.  See the details of my goals in my first post for this month.

  • Complete the ebook layout and formats – We had family in town for Jonathan’s birthday last weekend and I started a new VA job this week.  I’m a little off my normal schedule so I didn’t make much progress this week.
  • Complete the website and social media channels – I add a few pages to the website, including a page about my wonderful sponsor, Apologia!
  • Schedule reviews and giveaways – My mailing list continues to grow and I have arranged for two amazing guest post opportunities that I pray will reach moms who are hiding and hurting from depression.  I think I’m just over half way to my goal of 25 reviews for the launch week.

I’m planning some focused time this weekend to work on the PDF layout and write those guest posts which are due in the next week or so.

  • Schedule reviews and giveaways – I currently have 9 people on my mailing list interested in doing a review.

It’s February and my 3 in 30 goals for this month all revolve around my soon to be released ebook Finding Joy in Depression.  There’s a lot that goes into releasing an ebook.  The manuscript itself is done, but there’s so much more to do before the launch on March 12.

  • Complete the ebook layout and formats – I’m working on a PDF format as well as Kindle, Nook, and iBooks.
  • Complete the website and social media channels – The barebones website is up and my Twitter account as been created.  Need to create my Facebook page and “prettify” everything.
  • Schedule reviews and giveaways – My goal is to have 25 reviews and giveaways during the launch week.

The last week of January is already gone?  Time for a 3 in 30 check-in!

  1. Discover Perfect – I’m loving my word for 2012.  It’s not an easy word, but I’m learning so much.  I had the opportunity to share at Must Love God this week.  Take a look!
  2. Preserve Memories – Urgh.  Yeah, big fat fail.  I did two layouts at the beginning of the month and then everything went downhill.  I had a computer freeze/crash that ended in a couple of hours of lost work.  I got frustrated.  I decided to upgrade my Photoshop Elements (courtesy of an Amazon gift card from Josh’s parents for Christmas) and now it’s just to sit down and try again.
  3. Take Blog to the Next Level – I did another 4 days in 31 Days to Build a Better Blog this week.

Much of my time was redirected this month into finding ways to meet our goal of paying off Josh’s student loan this year.  Our goal is to find an extra $500 a month.  So far this month, I’ve come up with almost $300.  Not bad.  Not the goal, but without the goal, I wouldn’t have made it that far.

I also spent a lot of time working on my new ebook Finding Joy in Depression.  I sent my final draft over to Lisa at For Love of Words to work her “wordy” magic on it.  The barebones website is up and you can sign up for the email list over there to get more information on the book, the release, and opportunities to be an affiliate.  I have a wonderful sponsor that I can’t wait to tell you about too!  Current target is March 12, 2012.
