3 in 30 Check-in ~ November 11

3in30 Challenge

Time for a 3 in 30 check-in.  Week 2 of November.  Details of my goals are back in this post.

  1. Reclaim my mornings – The time change made things really weird around here for a few days.  Little boys up way to early and a mommy not wanting to get out from under the warm blankets.  My mornings have been spent snuggling and cuddling little boys.  But, I’m ok with that.  I’ve been awake most morning by 6:30am, but not necessarily up.
  2. Reading – I finished reading Season’s of a Mother’s Heart last week.  I’m still on track with all my other weekly reading.  I posted my review of Up, Down, or Sideways which was one of my reading goal books from last month.
    {See my full Fall reading list for book details.}
  3. Finish blog logo – My friend Dee is working on translating my drawings to the computer.  Hoping to start revealing the new look soon!

3 in 30 Check-in ~ November 4

3in30 Challenge

Time for a 3 in 30 check-in.  Week 1 of November.  Details of my goals are back in this post.

  1. Reclaim my mornings – I’m thinking I should have been a little nicer to November….
    Up with alarm and showered. Take that November! #mym6

    After that November fought back and the rest of the week has been a serious bust again.  Bedtime is definitely the current downfall.  Must be going to sleep by 10pm!  Now who is going to call me and remind me to go to bed on time each night?
  2. Reading – I kept up with my scheduled reading.  I’ve actually now finished Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, but I have a few more weeks of scripture and reflection to do.  I have not done any additional reading this week.
  3. Finish blog logo – I think I had a major breakthrough on the blog logo this week.  I have some sketches and a solid concept on paper.  Now the work of getting it translated to an image on the computer.

November 3 in 30 Goals

3in30 Challenge

Another month begins.  Welcome to November.  Here are my goals for the month:

  1. Reclaim my mornings – And the journey continues.  I’m working this month to get back to a 6:15am wake up time.  The goal is still to get to 6 am constantly.  My downfall right now seems to bed time.  I’m staying up too late which means that I don’t want to get up early.  I must be going to sleep around 10pm to get up at 6am.
  2. Reading – Here’s what I’m reading this month:
    Keep up on schedule with – 1 John, Educating the WholeHearted Child, Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, and Grace for the Good Girl
    Read – Spiritual Parenting and Weird
    {See my full Fall reading list for book details.}
  3.  Finish blog logo – This has been in the works for a few months.  Not having this completed is holding me up on a few other things.  It must be done this month!
I did finish reading Up, Down, or Sideways last night, eeking out a win on that goal at the last minute for October.

3 in 30 Check-in ~ October 28

3in30 Challenge

Time for a 3 in 30 check-in.  Week 4 of October.  Details of my goals are back in this post.

  1. Be consistant with my morning routine – This month was really tough for mornings.  I’m hoping that the time change in November will help me get back to 6:15am and meet my goal of 6am in November.
  2. Reading – I’m keeping up with 1 John, Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, Educating the WholeHearted Child, and Grace for the Good Girl.  I’m still about half way through Up, Down, or Sideways and made no additional progress in Spiritual Parenting.  I’m hoping to have some time this weekend to get closer to meeting this goal.  {Want to see my full Fall reading list?}
  3. 31 Days to… – I’m keeping up with 31 Days of Finding Joy in Depression.  This has been tough, but I’m so excited that I stuck with it.  Just a few more days to go.
I can’t believe that it is time to make my goals for November.  I’ll be thinking about that this weekend.

3 in 30 Check-in ~ October 21

3in30 Challenge

Time for a 3 in 30 check-in.  Week 3 of October.  Details of my goals are back in this post.

  1. Be consistant with my morning routine – Again another FAIL.  I’ve been staying up too late.  It’s been an on call week for Josh and that always throw things for a loop around here.  I know that my mornings are key to my day so I think that I’m being targeted for attack in this area as I am exposing my battle with depression.  I’ve been up by 7am most mornings, but I’ve been cuddling with the boys.  Not a bad thing at all, just off routine and pushes other morning things around.  Thankfully, I’ve been doing well with this bump in the road – I’ve been able to read during breakfast or while the boys are playing before school.  Basically, I’m holding on the best I can this month.  I don’t expect to meet my goal of 6am by the end of the month.  I will be happy if I can get myself back to 6:15am for my wake-up and will try again for 6am in November.  I’m thankful to My Mornings Group #6 for encouraging me this through time.
  2. Reading – Doing great with 1 John, Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, Educating the WholeHearted Child, and Grace for the Good Girl.  No additional progress in Up, Down, or Sideways or in Spiritual Parenting.  Want to see my full Fall reading list?
  3. 31 Days to…31 Days of Finding Joy in Depression is in it’s 3rd week and I’ve been keeping up on my posts.  It takes a lot to think and pray through those posts and get them written.  Most of the rest of the series is outlined and partially prepared.  I’m in awe of what God is doing in me through this series and how it is encouraging those who have been reading it.
