Jonathan's Name in Cursive

In my life this week? Thanks for the prayers for Josh’s fire ant bites and swollen arm.  The antibiotics helped and the swelling disappeared within days.  This is the time of year that our house, which seems to have been built on a fire any hill, is attacked by those evil creatures.  I had a bad feeling the other night so I had Josh spray.  The next morning, Jonathan found ants on the couch, thankfully before he sat down.  Unfortunately, {Read More}

Jacob Jumped Self To Sleep

In my life this week? What a crazy week this has been at The Pelsers.  Josh was busy getting everything taken care of for his motorcycle: safety class all weekend, insurance, registration, license, inspection, etc.  He drove the motorcycle to work yesterday for the first time and it broke down a few miles from work.  Seriously?  I was all set to celebrate that I finally get my van back and the motorcycle breaks down.  Ugh.  Now we have a car {Read More}

Jonathan finished the Target $1 spot subtraction book. Rather than wait any longer, we started in on the Math Mammoth Addition 1 book. On Thursday, I introduced “less than” and “greater than”from that book. I expected to go over it multiple times before {Read More}

Ikea Abacas

In my life this week? We took Jacob for his nine month check up on Wednesday.  He’s doing great. He is 27 inches long and almost 18 pounds; that is right about 50% for weight and height. We thought that we’d be starting testing for Celiac, but that turned out not to be the case.  {See our oatmeal story} I left the doctor’s office kind of frustrated and defeated.  I know that a diagnosis for Celiac can take time and {Read More}
