Discovering Perfect Research

I know that my next ebook is going to be about rediscovering perfect, but I’ve been struggling to really dig in and do the work. I’ve struggled to wrap my brain around the subject. A little frustration. A little fear. A little lack of motivation to carve out the time.

Then, I had one of those light bulb days a few days ago. A vision of the timing. A vision of the format. A vision of the way to deliver the ebook. And a little support from a few of my amazing blog buddies.

So, this weekend, I got up early on Saturday morning. I headed over to Starbucks for a few hours while Josh was at his weekly guys’ breakfast and my boys were playing at a friend’s house. I settled in with some breakfast and coffee. And I got to work. I ran my initial search in Logos and dug into the Hebrew.

I was blessed with the opportunity to continue much of the day at home as the boys played and Josh did things around the house. By the end of the day, I made through the Old Testament and into the New Testament. I’m currently in the book of John. I haven’t been in the original languages like this in years, and I was surprised that my vocabulary and grammar came back to quickly. It’s quite rusty, but it’s all still in there.

I’m excited to finish this research and compile it to bring you an ebook that will allow you to dig in and rediscover perfect for yourself. I hope that you’ll pray for me as I work on this new ebook. I also hope that you’ll give input and opinions along the way when I present questions and options to you. That will help me bring you an ebook that will be written and formatted in a way that will be of most use to you, the reader.

  1. I am praying for you as you work on this project. :)
