Kids in the Word Wednesday – Bible Reading and Scripture Memory
We’re back to reading our Egermeier’s Bible Story Book from Sonlight Core A. We started Joshua this week. Jonathan wanted to play with blocks while I read and as we got into the stories of Jericho, he decided it was appropriate to build the wall.
Kids in the Word Wednesday – Teach Them Diligently
I’m always looking for new ways to disciple my boys and keep them in the word. That’s why I started this weekly series and invited you to share how you keep your kids in the word. But, discipleship is more than reading a Bible story with your kids. It’s a lifestyle and a relationship.
Kids in the Word Wednesday – Using Our Scripture Memory Box
Kids in the Word Wednesday: Last week I made our new scripture memory box. Did you see the tutorial and the free printable? Our little index card box now lives on our kitchen table and we crack it open at breakfast and dinner. Jonathan is having a lot of fun reviewing the verses we learned last Fall. Daddy is really getting into it too.
How to Make a Scripture Memory Box
Jonathan and I are still reading The Beginner’s Bible most days. I want to jump back into more regular scripture memory and some friends convinced me to try the Simply Charlotte Mason memory box method. I have everything set up now so we can resume first be reviewing our old verses.
