Checking in for my second week of August! {See the details of my goals for August.}
- Reclaim my mornings: This has been going surprisingly well. The beginning of the week was a little rough because the boys were up and in my bed 10 minutes before my alarm went off, but I managed to press through, get up, and be productive. I moved my alarm time to 6:20am for this morning – and I got up! Baby steps. Baby steps. The boys were up this mornings by the time I got out of the shower, but Josh had them sitting at the kitchen table and had made breakfast for everyone. Breakfast for me too! {Yeah, he's a keeper!}
- Reclaim my house: I'm on day 11 of 31 Days to Clean. I've done most of the challenges. I missed one earlier this week because the boys threw my mornings routine off by getting up so early and I couldn't get back on track to do the challenge that day. The readings and Mary challenges have been very encouraging. I feel like I'm letting go of perfection. Doing something is better than nothing but perfection is not better than good enough.
- Research and Implement Blogging Best Practices: I'm working on some behind the scenes things on the blog. Things that most of my readers won't even notice but they have made things run more smoothly and efficiently. Josh is helping me with a larger technical project that he has more experience with. I won't bore you with the details since those things are far outside of the scope of things that I write about here.
That's week 2! What are your goals for this month?
