We're working our way through Apologia's Who is God? book this year. We finished chapter 1 last week. We're using the text and the coloring book and adding the notebook in as an occasional supplement. One of the things that we discussed at the end of the chapter was the definition of worldview and how to have a worldview based on God and the Bible.
The book describes worldview like glasses. If your lenses are colored or broken, you won't be able to see the world correctly. Jonathan thought that was cool. So we put on our glasses and explored the world. We talked about how people see things when they know and have a relationship with God and how those people who don't know God and read the Bible see the world.
We're moving along a story at a time in our Bible, loosely following the Sonlight Core A schedule. We made it to the finding a wife for Isaac and the death of Abraham. I love how Jonathan is starting to recognize stories that he's heard before and can make connections between stories.
