Time for a 3 in 30 check-in. Week 2 of September. Details of my goals are back in this post.
How'd I do this week?
- Reclaim my mornings – My alarm is set for 6:15am. I've done pretty well this week. Up with the alarm except for Thursday. On the first day of Hello Mornings, what did I do? I hit snooze not once, but twice. I was still up by about 6:30am so I'm not beating myself up too much. I'm excited about spending the fall with My Mornings Group 6! Seasons of a Mother's Heart has been an amazing read. Love it. 1 John starts on Monday.
- Reclaim my house – I'm great at making lists. I'm not so good with the actual cleaning. My kitchen looks like a dish bomb went off. How does that happen so quickly? In better news, my menu planning board looks awesome. {Can I say that about my own project?} The board is up on the wall and the month grid is taped off. Now I need to make the magnetic meals.
- Take blog to the next level – No significant progress this week other than reading and research.
This has been a bit of a “funk” week around here. Jacob seems to be teething and the worst of it is midday. He clings to me and power nurses. And he screams. This leads to a tired momma by the time afternoon nap and quiet time rolls around. On Thursday, I gave in and rested instead of powering through. I desperately needed it. Josh had been onsite at a client and came straight home from there. That allowed me some extra time to get a good power nap in before dinner.
What are your goals for this month? What are you doing to accomplish them?
