Through the summer, I'm teaming up with my friend Kelli at Adventurez in ChildRearing to bring you a series of reflections and link ups on Proverbs 31 as we study along with Good Morning Girls. Get all the details on the study in the kick-off post. Daily discussion is going on in our Proverbs 31 Facebook Group. You're invited to join us too – just request to be added to the group.

Week 4 Reflections:
What's Your Field?
The Proverbs 31 Woman is quite the business woman:
She considers a field and buys it;
with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
Proverbs 31:16
Seriously?
When is the last time you ventured out and purchased real estate on your own? Not me! But here's what I did do: I figured out what I enjoy doing and what God has gifted me to do. Then, I figured out how do it in a way to benefit my family financially.
The result?
That income combined with a tax refund, small amounts I squeezed out of our tight budget, and some extra money Josh was able to bring in enable us to pay off over $6,000 in debt in 3.5 months. Josh's student loan, gone. You can read the story and read the technical details of how we used You Need a Budget to track our finances. That all came about because I wanted to be a Proverbs 31 woman. I wanted to follow God and be debt-free.
Every day I work as a VA and technical assistant for multiple clients. That's my field. My profit runs my business and pays off our debt. That's my fruit.
What's your field? How are you going to buy it and make a profit? What are you doing to do with your profit? Share in the comments and/or link up a blog post. Make sure you go visit Kelli at Adventurez in ChildRearing too! Grab the button code from this page.
