Chapter 2: Identity

Random. Zan describes random in this chapter as being out of context or detached. Our society is a casualty of randomness and our families have been lost in the midst of the chaos.

God created the institution of the family before the Fall. He put children into families to give them identity. Why?

Ever get frustrated with the genealogies in the Bible? The repeated listings are records for families. It shows the priority that God has placed on families. Over and over again, people are grouped and  counted by their families.
