The end of the first full week of September. Time for a 3 in 30 check-in. Details of my goals are back in this post. How'd I do this week?
- Reclaim my mornings – My alarm is set for 6:15am. The holiday and the late work week for Josh threw me off a little, but I've still been up by 6:30am at the latest this week. Hello Mornings starts soon; very much looking forward to have a group of ladies to keep me accountable with my wake-up time and morning routine. Seasons of a Mother's Heart is excellent so far. 21 days of Prayer for Sons started this week. I've already read the book once, so most of my time has been focused on praying the scriptures over the boys. Jonathan has been getting up at about the time I'm starting that part of my quiet time. He's been sitting with me in my rocking chair as I silently pray the scriptures over him.
- Reclaim my house – I'm not reading 31 Days to Clean as thoroughly this month. I'm focusing more on the posts at Homemaker's Challenge and getting my routine in place. I'm using Create Your Perfect Cleaning Schedule and other resources to build a monthly routine that works for me. I have a rough, rough draft that I'm working with each week this month and tweaking as I go. I decided that meal planning board needed to be done and would be a fun project. It's no longer a bonus goal. I'm doing it. I talked it over with Josh and got his input and suggestions. I planned it out and priced out the materials last weekend. I purchased some of the things I needed at Amazon using Swagbucks and other giftcards. Now I just need to make a trip to the hardware store. {Or, maybe Josh needs to make a trip to the hardware store. He has some elaborate plan for hanging this monstrous thing that I have created. Yeah, it's big.}
- Take blog to the next level – Read this ProBlogger book that I borrowed from a friend. Done. Return book… {Hey, Dee! I'm done with your book.} Create rough draft of costs for The 2:1 Conference. Done.
What are your goals for this month? What are you doing to accomplish them?
