Last week, Jonathan was working hard on his “pink” (Pathway 1st Grade Pre-Primer) workbook.
He was close to the end of the workbook and was determined that he was going to finish it that morning. He had about 8 pages to go. That's a lot of work for a then 3 year old. He wanted to continue no matter how many times I told him that he could stop. He kept at it for 2 hours. Normally, we only focus on one thing for 15-30 minutes at most.
And he did it!
Last night he finished reading the “blue” (1st Grade Primer) book with Daddy. Now we're working on the workbook that goes with it. Tonight he'll start reading the “green” (1st Grade Reader) book in the evenings before bed.
