This post brought to you by Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.
My family eats mostly gluten-free, but I love oatmeal. I've loved oatmeal since I was little. I like to find ways to sneak in oatmeal in wholesome food options for just me when I can. When I was nursing Jonathan, I ate oatmeal nearly every morning for breakfast. Ah, back in our pre-gluten-free days. Now oatmeal is a real treat for me – and for Jonathan. One of my favorite things to make for me and for Jonathan are the no-bake cookies with chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal. I have to hide those from Josh and never speak of them!
Quaker has a new bar that looks good. The new Quaker Soft Baked Bar would be a yummy breakfast snack or afternoon treat. They come in Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread. I'm a big fan of both flavors in baked goods but I usually am a sucker for anything with cinnamon. I'd probably have to fight Jonathan off for either of them!
