Jonathan is pushing ahead on his reading again. He read all of Frog and Toad Together (plus read two of the stories again for Daddy) and nearly half of Days with Frog and Toad. These are Sonlight 2nd Grade Readers that I had up on a high shelf for later this year and he begged me to get them down for him this morning. I have two more Frog and Toad books waiting on the shelf.
I'm going to need more books ASAP! I need more free reading suggestions. He is reading at around a 2nd grade level, but he's only 4.5 years old. I need some books or series that will be at a good reading and comprehension level, but also have interesting and engaging stories. He gets bored quickly with the simple stories that try to use a small set of vocabulary.
