I struggle with consistency. I desperately want my boys to develop Godly character, but I know that is a marathon, not a sprint. And I struggle with sticking with the practices that develop that character in them.

Character Badges

My friend Caroline and her husband Sean have created a system to help you be consistent with developing character in yours kids called Character Badges. Here's how they describe it:

Character Badges is a system consisting of three charts (the Obedience Chart, the Disobedience Chart, and the Consequence Chart), a series of specially designed badges, and a set of flash cards which work together to make character training fun and rewarding for both you and your child.

For younger kids, there's Little Character Badges. It's been modified slightly from the original to be easier for your littlest ones to understand.
