Not Back to School Blog Hop

I wrote a post earlier this summer about our Kindergarten plans.  I haven't changed much of our plan since then.

  • History / Geography / Literature: Sonlight Core A
  • Math: Math Mammoth Light Blue Grade 1 and Misc Blue Series Level 1 Books
  • Science: Apologia's Exploring Creation with Astronomy
  • Language Arts: Spell to Write & Read plus Pathway Readers and Workbooks (Finish final 1st Grade book/workbook and begin 2nd Grade)
  • World View / Theology: Apologia's Who is God?
  • Foreign Language: Hooked on Phonics French
  • and whatever else we find to add in all the way!

I'm planning to stretch Sonlight Core A for closer to two years, if possible, since Jonathan is on the young side for starting that core.  I created a page where I can update our curriculum along the way when I make changes.  {Yes, changes will happen.  I'm prepared for that.}  If you're homeschooling with any of these books, please share with us how you're using them over the course of the school year.  You can keep up with us in one or more of the following ways:
