I love watching Jonathan play puzzle / logic games. His face is priceless to watch as he works strategically and methodically makes his moves. This is one of his favorites: Cross Fingers. It's free on iPhone and iPad. The developer has a paid version with additional levels, but I think we just have the free version. I consider it part of math time. {This is his Daddy's boy side.}
I'm thankful for this book: Story of the World Volume 1. I added this book to our curriculum last month. We read chapter 3 this morning on “The First Writing” and Jonathan ate it up. He loves listening to me read this book to him. He is totally into learning about the ancient Egyptians. We have the activity book that goes with this volume and it is so much fun to watch him do the mapping activities and narrate the information. I love it! {This is his Momma's boy side.}
