In my life this week…
Things were a little crazy around here. Baby up in the night. Daddy busy with work. House exploding with messes. See my 3 in 30 check in for all the gory details.
In our homeschool this week…
- Math Mammoth Addition 1 – We're very happy with this curriculum. Jonathan is even starting to “rememberize” some of his addition facts and do some math in his head. Incredible for just four years old.
- Pathway More Days Go By – I added this back in to help us step back up to a full school year schedule. This is a great curriculum for Jonathan. He's doing so well with the grammar and comprehension using this series.
- Memory Verses – We're stuck on a long verse right now. The neithers and nors in Roman's 8:38-39 have us both tripped up!
- Apologia Astronomy! Jonathan and I were so excited to start this that we jumped in a week early!
Things I'm working on…
- We “officially” start Kindergarten on Monday. I have a Kindergartener? That's crazy!
- I need to get Jonathan to let me cut his hair. This is a battle every few months.
- I have a great idea for a back to school picture. Hair cut, then picture…
I'm reading…
- I'm still reading Educating the Wholehearted Child and discussing it with other homeschool moms here on my blog each Monday. I'm hosting a giveaway for the book right now thanks to Apologia!
