Kids in the Word Wednesday – Bible Reading and Scripture Memory

We're back to reading our Egermeier's Bible Story Book from Sonlight Core A.  We started Joshua this week.  Jonathan wanted to play with blocks while I read and as we got into the stories of Jericho, he decided it was appropriate to build the wall.

Jacob is watching on, just waiting for his chance to knock down the wall, which of course they did at the end of the story.

We're loving our scripture memory box.  We've been working on these verses:

• Psalm 34:10
• 2 Timothy 4:12
• Jeremiah 33:3
• Romans 8:38-39

The Romans passage is taking us a little longer to get just right.  Our box sits on the kitchen table and we open it at almost every meal to work on our verses.
