Jonathan and I had a ton of fun the other night customizing a LEGO Minifigure Family card. LEGO is big in our house, so Jonathan was over the moon to see this cool site and get to make a card.
The site was really easy to use. I poked around first, but then let Jonathan make his card mostly on his own. At 6, almost 7, he was able to do everything on his own. He figured out how to add LEGO minifigure family members, give them names, and customize them. Jonathan loved that he could change the minifigure faces, hair, torso, and legs.
There were a number of scenes to select from for backgrounds for the card. Most had a very Christmas or holiday feel to them. Jonathan chose the one scene that was not holiday related because he thought that it looked like our house.
Here's Jonathan's creation:
Making the LEGO minifigure family card was a highlight of Jonathan's day. I love how you can share your final card via social media or download a jpeg file. You could print your image to include with Christmas cards or gifts or send it in an email as you spread Christmas cheer.
