51 Frugal Father-Daughter Dates

My friend (or possible long-lost twin), Ashley Pichea has released a new ebook: 51 Frugal Father-Daughter Dates.

I only have boys. So, why would I read and review a book for fathers and daughters? Well, I am a girl and, you never know, we could have a girl in the future. But really, I was also hoping that there would be some good ideas that could be adapted for fathers and sons or mothers and sons. I was not disappointed! While there is a distinctly girly twist to the ideas, some of them can be adapted for those of us with boys.

51 Frugal Father-Daughter Dates is broken down by cost: free, under $5, under $10, under $20, and under $50. The ideas are simple in many cases, but Ashley has done the work to cull the ideas, make them manageable and put them in an easy to use format. It's a great format for even a non-reader type dad.

Father's Day is coming! This would make a great gift for the fathers in your life. I think it would be fun to give a copy of the ebook with the following:

  • Make a cute coupon booklet with some of your favorite ideas. Fathers and daughters can have fun picking out coupons to use for date night.
  • Write some of the ideas on slips of paper and put them in a jar, basket or box. Fathers and daughters can take turns picking a random date night idea to do together.

Go like the Frugal Father-Daughter Dates Facebook page for more ideas.
