Science is one of Jonathan's favorite subjects, so I was very excited when World of Science from Master Books arrived for us to review.
I sat down with Jonathan to look through the book and he flipped straight to the section about space. That didn't surprise me since we've been studying Astronomy this year in our homeschool. He loved all the wonderful pictures and fact snippets. He devoured every page in that section.
Jonathan then proceeded to look at every single experiment listed in the last section of the book. He asked to do every single one of them right away! I had to postpone that request, but I'm sure that there will be lots of experiments in our future.
I love the scope of this book. So many different science topics are covered. I love how there are so many colorful pictures too. Another great feature are the “science discovery” insets that highlight famous scientists and their discoveries.
World of Science is a nice reference book that will be a great companion to any science curriculum we use in the future.
