May Goals Update – 5/25

Here’s my weekly update on my big goals for May

Pay $500 a month on our HELOC. Quickbooks and I broke up. We had the whole “it’s me, not you” talk and split up. It was too much time and work for the amount of extra income I’m bringing in right now. I moved to combination of Freshbooks and Outright. Much easier so far. That means that I finally did my bookkeeping for the month!
Here’s what my progress looks like:
Budgeted payment: $185
Amanda’s available income: $251.31
Total for the month to date is $436.31. When my invoices for this week are paid, we should meet our $500 goal for May!
Find an ?SOAP? all of the verses in the Bible using the word ?perfect.? No progress. I’m really into the Proverbs 31 study and any extra time this past week has gone into the MomComm Content Brew ecourse (highly recommend it for those of you who are bloggers) that I took and to clients.
Design the branding for my virtual and technical assistance services and distribute a button for my clients to display. No progress. See above excuse.

Maybe I made my goals a little tough considering our travel and vacation at the beginning of the month. One more week. I might be able to gain some ground on #2 and #3. We’ll see. Goals and accountability are crucial to success. What are your goals this month and who are you allowing to keep you accountable?

May Goals Update – 5/11

Did you see my big goals for May? Vacation kept me from getting very far on my goals over the last two weeks….

Pay $500 a month on our HELOC. Money is slowly coming in from various VA/TA avenues, but I haven’t caught up on post-vacation financial records to know how much has come in this month. I welcomed 3 new WordPress maintenance clients to my business in the last month!
Find an “SOAP” all of the verses in the Bible using the word “perfect.” I was hoping to do a lot of this on vacation. I did a lot more napping than study…
Design the branding for my virtual and technical assistance services and distribute a button for my clients to display. I have some ideas worked up. Now to start putting it on the screen!

April Goals Check-in for April 6

Here’s my progress for the week:

Move my blog to new host. I’m moving to BlueHost. I’ve decided that April 13-14 is moving day. I have some file transfers to do this next week in preparation for the move.
Pay off Josh’s student loan. We have the amount of Josh’s quarterly incentive check and are waiting for the to arrive. I’m still adding new WordPress maintenance clients and VA/TA clients. Read/Study Pursuit of Proverbs 31 by Amy Bayliss. This is the last week of my study of Ephesians with Good Morning Girls. I’ll be starting on Pursuit of Proverbs 31 next week. I’ll include a link up in case anyone else wants to share their thoughts and read with me. Take a look at my review of Amy’s book.

March Goals Update – March 16

Finding Joy in Depression launched this past Monday. I had a wild and crazy weekend at Teach Them Diligently and now I’m so excited about heading to Apologia Live on Friday. {I don’t get out much… can you tell?}

Here’s my progress for the week:

Stay consistent with my Bible reading. I got off on Friday with being out of town, but the rest of the week was great.
Prepare for next book club. Everything is up for my next book club. The Shepherding a Child’s Heart Book Club information is up and I’d love for you to join me!
Pay off Josh’s student loan. I shared last month that we needed an extra $500/mo in order to pay off his loan this year. God did a crazy, unexpected thing in February which brought us very close to paying off this study loan. I shared our February progress update last week. I have a couple of potential new VA/TA clients that I’m very excited about.

March Goals Update – March 9

It’s been a busy but good first week of March. I’m almost ready for the launch of Finding Joy in Depression and then I head out to Teach Them Diligently and Apologia Live. So excited!

Here’s my progress for the week:

Stay consistent with my Bible reading. I’m not sleeping well and my mornings have not been so good. I missed two days this week. Grr.
Prepare for next book club. Everything is up for my next book club. The Shepherding a Child’s Heart Book Club information is up and I’d love for you to join me!
Pay off Josh’s student loan. I shared last month that we needed an extra $500/mo in order to pay off his loan this year. God did a crazy, unexpected thing in February which brought us very close to paying off this study loan. I shared our February progress update earlier this week. I’m working very hard on finding ways to bring in extra funds to pay this loan off by May 8.
